My back hurts almost all the time. I'm only 16!?
I get regular adjustments from my chiropractor, who is really good. I did not do it every day, because while the damage my back. I've been going there for about 2 years. I also get a massage from time to time, but I have not had one recently. I used to live much pain in my neck of the uterus, but recently it was in my lumbar so bad I can hardly sleep. I even have a Tempur-Pedic beds and pillows that do not seem to help! I used to ice my back that makes him feel better long enough for me to sleep. I am a vegetarian, you think I could have a deficit in something that could cause my back hurt? I was also diagnosed with mild scoliosis, I just have a little curve in my lower back, but nothing terrible. I do office work, but only for 3-4 hours a day, nothing extravagant. I'm only 16 and I'm afraid I'll have to live with this pain all my life …
Firstly, you did not say if you have a full set of X-Rays. You really have to do to see exactly what happens. It is possible you may have some disk problems. Does not necessarily mean you need surgery. Most chiropractors will not pay until that the X-ray is done, then you might have already had to do. The second thing you should do, since chiropractic treatment is not working, it have your doctor write a prescription for physiotherapy. It is possible that a physiotherapist can look at your shelves X, then show you the back exercises you need. But you should not do X-rays are taken until and read by a physiotherapist, because if you just do random exercises without knowing exactly what is happening, you might hurt your back even more. I know that does not give you specific things to do, but it takes you to an appropriate treatment. Good luck to get the Help you need.
