Single Mattress
Can I carry a single bed (with mattress and mattress), using the roof racks of the Ford Escape?.?
The rack will of the weight, no problem. But if you are driving any distance or at highway speed, there is some possibility that the mattress platform and catch the wind like a sail and literally break the roof rack. Put the mattress on the bottom and springs at the top, then the string through the open windows and passenger strings go to front bumper.
