Question on the mattress (springs, etc.)?
There was a mattress. It was 6 months old and miracoil type. SilentNight. Very firm. Due to certain issues they have, I slept on top of an air mattress placed on top of it. You would be better to use a thick mattress topper an inflatable. It would also allow the mattress to breathe.
