What should I look for in a firm mattress?
I have to buy a mattress – no box spring required. I'm looking for one that is firm and I am getting quality for the price. Any suggestions on brands or what to look for?
Go to different mattress retailers and test beds. Contrary of them as you would in the night, for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Keep a small notebook of each. Everyone has a different body and ample comfort, that is great for one person may not be for another. A good mattress should last about 10 years. It effects not only how you sleep, but also how feel during the day. There should be a quick and buy. Take your time.
