luxury memory foam mattress topper visco elastic memory with padded FOAR?

Has anyone ever used the foam mattress up as my daughter baught one a few weeks ago, my daughter has asthma dose (though controlled) a few nights after sleeping on the mattress he awoke at night and could not catch my breath this has started more often Happing only had this problem, as was the bed mattress topper, has anyone had an experiance simulate or someone could advise us weather you think the mattress topper is the cause of the problem, thanks
